Standing at the edge of the earth hoping for someday
Waiting
Believing
Praying
Longing
Clinging
Cherishing
Thinking
Dreaming
Wishing
Yearning
Counting
Knowing that one day I will see you.

<sigh, sigh, sigh> i just wanted to take a breather. This has been one helluva week! my mind’s going to explode from too much information! As most of you know, i’m taking my masters, and i’m really finding it hard to adjust to the workload. my pending reports are piling up, i haven’t finished my assignment on public administration, i have to catch up on my reading on local government, and my class is already on saturday! aaarggghhh!!!! MARK! this is all your fault! :p hadn’t i listened to you, my life would have been much easier. i know, i know, i shouldn’t complain (but i am!), i should be thankful i have a job and can go to school (though, if i keep this up, i might lose both! i might even go crazy, i’m afraid i’m already suffering from memory gap, i had so many booboos yesterday at work!). wala lang, :p papanchin lang, and to Mark: i know i better go back to my reading now, lest i be kicked out from U.P. baka sa SPCBA ko bumagsak (although that’s not so bad, and i’m not demeaning the school, mind you :p)
this poem is from Before Sunrise, one of my most favorite movies… i wish somebody will write a poem for me… like say, CHEESECAKE? he!he! if somebody makes this poem for me, heck! i’ll marry him!…provided of course, of certain conditions….he!he! enjoy reading….
Daydream delusion.
Limousine Eyelash
Oh, baby with your pretty face
Drop a tear in my wineglass
Look at those big eyes
See what you mean to me
Sweet cakes and milkshakes
I am a delusioned angel
I am a fantasy parade.
I want you to know what I think.
Don’t want you to guess anymore.
You have no idea where I came from.
We have no idea where we’re going.
Launched in life.
Like branches in the river.
Flowing downstream.
Caught in the current.
I’ll carry you. You’ll carry me.
That’s how it could be.
Don’t you know me
Don’t you know me by now.
